Our practice is designed to deliver advanced preventive, cosmetic, and general dentistry to correct, restore, and enhance your smile. With your needs in mind, we have equipped our dental practice to deliver quality care in an atmosphere of efficiency, warmth, and understated elegance to benefit the Downtown Toronto community and surrounding areas.

Our approach to addressing dental issues and enhancing your smile is conservative and gentle. We take pride in our care and want to help you achieve a positive impact on both your overall health and your self-confidence. Dr. Suzanne Baptista is the principal dentist and owner of Baptista Dentistry. Dr. Baptista has been in practice for over 18 years and has been committed to investing in professional development and learning the latest technology throughout her career.

We have supported and continue to contribute to many charities and community initiatives over the years. Dr. Baptista was also honoured to have served as a Volunteer Dentist with the 1000 Smiles! Dental Project in October 2023, where she provided dental treatment to patients overseas with limited access to dental care.

Our team of dental professionals at Baptista Dentistry cares about you and the health of your smile. We’re here to provide you and your family with the care and support you need with professionalism, compassion, and expertise.

Mary (OFFICE MANAGER)

Mary has been a dedicated member of our practice since 2003, with over twenty years of dental experience. She ensures the smooth running of our office on a daily basis. She is extremely knowledgeable and can answer any questions pertaining to your treatment. Her friendly and approachable demeanour makes arranging appointments or feasible financial arrangements a pleasant, stress-free experience. Her qualifications include a business management degree from Ryerson and HARP and treatment coordination dental certifications from George Brown College. Mary is an adventure seeker, loves trying new restaurants, and is an avid volleyball player. Mary is also a proud mama to Blake and Aaron. She has a way of always remembering birthdays and making everyone feel special.

Tessa(PATIENT COORDINATOR)

Tessa joined our administrative team in January of 2023. With past experience in dental assisting, it was an easy transition to working at the front desk and focusing on the administrative side of patient care. When not at the office, she enjoys spending time outside, reading fiction + poetry, and listening to music. Tessa is looking forward to meeting you at your appointment and being a part of your care!

Karen(CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT)

Karen brings to our office many years of assisting experience and adds to the varied skillset of our experienced dental team. Karen has a gentle and calming way about her that helps to alleviate any patient anxieties during treatment. Karen is a local foodie, and is proud to call Toronto home with her husband and daughter.

Roxana(CLINICAL CO-ORDINATOR & CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT)

Roxana is a graduate of the Dental Assisting Program at Durham College and is enthusiastic about learning about new technologies that are constantly changing within the dental field. She is an essential member of our team, supporting our clinical providers and ensuring that all our quality assurance programs are running efficiently on a daily basis. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and her dog, Coco. Roxana also enjoys travelling the world and looks forward to finding her next adventure.

Jennifer(REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST)

Jennifer has over 17 years of clinical hygiene experience. Her patient-centered delivery of care for her patients is a true reflection of our practice’s personalized approach to caring for our dental patients. As a dedicated dental professional, Jennifer continues to seek opportunities to add to her growing skillset. A Toronto native, Jennifer enjoys gardening and spending time with her young family.

Alicia(REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST)

Alicia graduated from George Brown College, earning an advanced diploma in their Dental Hygiene Program. She enjoys lifting weights, spending time with friends and family, and trying new restaurants. Alicia is a highly motivated and passionate hygienist, dedicated to finding new ways in which she can refine her knowledge base and clinical skills.

Marcela(REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST)

A Brazilian native, Marcela moved to Canada and settled in Toronto with her husband Cristiano 7 years ago. Prior to obtaining her dental hygiene licensure in Ontario, Marcela graduated with a professional degree in dentistry and practiced as a general dentist in Brazil for 4 years. Under Marcela’s care, no doubt you will you be seeing a skilled and gentle clinician. Marcela says she loves her job because she helps our patients maintain a healthy smile and prevents oral diseases. In her free time, she loves to travel, hang out with friends or her yellow cat Sebastian – he is a sweetheart (sometimes)!
